Born in Jakarta, 1 July 1986, Agnes Monica started her career in singing and acting since she was 6 years old. She started off by recording 3 children's album which was popular during the time she made it. by the year 2003, she made another album called "And The Story Goes"This marked her transition from being a child singer to a female artist. By the year 2005, She started to shine even more and had the chance to collaborate with an American R&B singer Keith Martin on her album "Whaddup a..?!" nevertheless she is success on her singing career, her acting career also rocketed up. She even appeared on 2 Taiwanese drama series, "The Hospital" and also "Romance in the White House"
She participated in the Asia Song Festival in Seoul in the year 2008 and 2009 and won "Best Asian Artist" award for both of the years she participated. Her sixth album was a blast. she served as the producer and also the songwriter for her own album called "Sacredly Agnezious" in 2009. She was also appointed as an anti-drug ambassador of Asia, and also the ambassador of MTV EXIT in order to combat human trafficking. Throughout her career, many controversies gets in line, when she was a teenager, her frequent comments about her goal to break into the International market was viewed by some as a pompous proclamation. Anyhow, in 2010 she started to work on a debut on English studio Album. Her slogan "Dream, Believe and Make it Happen" was used in a 2011 cultural conference to inspire young people organized by the US embassy in Jakarta.
