Putri Ayu Rosmei Silaen was born in North Sumatra, Indonesia on May 24,1997. This young girl started her debut by joining an Indonesian talent show called "Indonesia mencari bakat" or in english "Indonesia's got talent" She did not win the first place in the competition but she managed to be the second winner of the show. However, Indonesia's got talent wasn't the end of her career, in fact, her real journey just began afterwards.
When she first auditioned for the competition, people thought of her as this young lady who does not have any special talent. But when she walked in and sing, everyone stared at her in awe because not only she can sing, but she sounded like she is a professional opera singer. She was 12 years old when she auditioned for the show!
After the show, she was not so popular among Indonesians. However, her career blasts in the International world. David Foster, one of the world's most famous composer/musician had collaborated with her and he was so amazed by what she could do that he offered her to go with him on a tour worldwide.
Meeting David Foster was such an accomplishment for her. However, she met another famous person and sang a duet with him!he is Michael Bolton. they had duet singing the song "The Prayer". even though she is famous worldwide already, she does not have an album yet. the reason that caused this is because for her genre is not easy to come up with songs to create an album. However she did amazing covers for almost every opera song there is in the whole world from the past and also recent opera songs.
